The early '90s were an ugly time, at least when it came to hair and makeup. Claw-shaped bangs? The mullet? We have Beverly Hills, 90210 to thank for spreading those trends.
Now that the show is being remade, expect a nostalgia fest, starting with a forthcoming 90210-inspired collection of nail polish from OPI. This brand is known for its cheeky names — some of which sound kinda X-rated — and I can't wait to see what will pop up this time. A blood-red shade called Emily Valentine? A sparkly color named after the Peach Pit? A nude called Brenda Va à Paris? A gold named Dylan's Liquor? The possibilities are endless.
I might have just had a heart attack. According to Nylon, nail polish brand OPI is planning to launch a limited edition collection of colors inspired by the original 90210 cast members. Hold the &%$#ing phone. This is the awesomest thing I’ve heard since they confirmed Brenda was going to be on the spin-off. My brain is already spinning with ideas for shades!\n\nVirgin/Whore A lovely opalescent pink shade which represents Donna Martin’s purity (well, until she gave it up to David) and her reputation for having the trampiest wardrobe on primetime during the ‘90s.\nJudgey Wudgey White Stark white for Kelly’s uppity “I’m such an angel” attitude—a perfect match for her cocaine addiction from season five.\nPouty & Pissed A greyish blue for Miss Moody herself, Brenda Walsh.\nEuphoria Black Emily Valentine probably totally rocked gothic black nail polish the night she got Brandon to take “euphoria”.

To celebrate the return of the 90210 girls, Brenda, Kelly and Donna, OPI brings us six new shades to sport this Fall Beverly Hills Style.\n\nO.P.I introduces a range of limited-edition nail shades inspired by the 90's hit series that will launch this Fall. The shades and color information will be revealed in an upcoming issue of Nylon. \n\nLavendar Purple, Green, Navy Blue, Hot Pink and Peach?! This new collection had me at green.
