A German design team creates a simple software-controlled robot that products large scale prints.
The Facadeprinter is a large scale communication tool produced by German design company Sonice Development GmbH that shoots artwork onto walls. This tiny robot consists of a turn table with two axes and an air-pressure print head. The printer prints the artwork from a distance dot by dot onto the chosen area, allowing painting onto even the most inaccessible and uneven surfaces.
The company frequently prints avant-garde images on walls around Europe and offers printing services to businesses in need of a unique way to promote their products.
