Locke!

For $24,000, OpticsPlanet will sell you a Z.E.R.O. (Zombie Extermination, Research and Operations) Kit that includes all kinds of heavy weapon accessories, survival gear and even lab equipment to help you find a cure. It'll be almost — but not quite — enough to help you ride out the zombie invasion. Really, it's nice of OpicsPlanet to include things like glass beakers, pipettes and a Celestron microscope along with the obligatory laser sights, body armor, extra ammo and so on that you can find in regular ol' off-the-shelf zombie survival kits. We like the idea that there are solutions to zombies that don't solely involve blowing them into chunks as efficiently as possible. It's just that a microscope and some beakers does not a cure for zombies make, and unless one of your friends happens to be a necrobiologist, you're probably better off smashing the beakers up and using them to stab zombies in the eye as opposed to doing any real science with them.

Having said that, there's always a chance that your group of zombie survivalists will randomly run into someone who is working on a cure and who desperately needs some laboratory-grade glassware; just keep in mind that the likelihood of this is fairly low unless you've got a film crew with you, in which case finding someone with an idea for a cure is all but inevitable. Alongside some science equipment, the Z.E.R.O. kit also includes a whole mess of accessories for various weapons (no included guns — maybe you have to find those?), a pair of knives, an OPMOD "Battle Mug," tons of containers, backpacks, tools and protective gear.
