‘Air Lair’ are double-decker capsules that create a more comfortable and smarter designed flying experience.
Airplane seat manufacturer Contour Aerospace and product design consultancy Factorydesign have developed a concept for double-decker seating pods that would provide a more comfortable and private flight. ‘Air Lair’ features individual hard-shell capsules, which contain a flat bed, mood lighting, and a projector for in-flight entertainment.
The ultra-private pods offer passengers more personal space and also give airlines 30% more seating in their cabins, thanks to the double-decker design.
