Molten chocolate cake's about as old hat as those pointy joints with buckles that pilgrims used to rock. (We think the last molten chocolate cake recipes we ran were around the time Bill Clinton was leaving the White House.) But French food designer Stéphane Bureaux has put a pretty cute twist on the idea by combining the molten chocolate with a birthday candle. Just pop the candle (named FUJISAN, after the Japanese volcano, by Bureaux) in a little cake, and let the molten magic happen while you sing "Happy Birthday."
