‘Let’s Pizza’ machines make hot pies in less than three minutes.
Ever really, really want a pizza but don’t have more than a few minutes to get one? A1 Concepts from the Netherlands is distributing an Italian-made vending machine that can bake a whole pizza in two and a half minutes. After the concept’s initial success in Europe, they’re now coming across the pond to the United States.
Let’s Pizza vending machines knead the dough, form a round, add tomato sauce, layers a choice of three toppings and bakes it all 24/7, 365 days a year. They claim the product is ”a healthy genuine Italian pizza,” at around $6 for a 10.5 inch pie.
Strangely enough, the machines have proven to be popular in Italy even though they are an inevitably ‘perfect product’ for the American ultra-fast food market. Let’s Pizza will be headquartered in Atlanta, and expects that the machines will be placed in malls, airports, gas stations, bus stations, universities, and supermarkets across the country.
