The NBA Finals 2012 schedule opens on Tuesday night with Game 1 of the best-of-7 series featuring the Miami Heat vs. Oklahoma City Thunder. This year's matchup will be a duel involving the current NBA MVP versus the current scoring champ. The NBA Finals will be shown on live television as well as live streaming online. According to NBA.com, the live NBA Finals Game 1 starts at 9 p.m. EST on ABC and its local affiliate stations. The live streaming online coverage will come via ESPN's WatchESPN website for the duration of the series. The series is scheduled to go until June 26th, if a seventh game is necessary. The Thunder hold the homecourt advantage, meaning four of the seven games will be in Oklahoma City.
The series will feature the NBA MVP with Lebron James, as well as the current scoring champion, OKC's Kevin Durant. James is back in the Finals for a second straight year, still in search of his first championship
