Only the Brave Foundation, an organisation set up by Diesel founder Renzo Rosso, is focused on inspiring and mobilizing the world’s youth to join the fight to help end extreme poverty in Africa and around the world. OTB is raising awareness through an animated manifesto film, and an interactive online exploration of a village in Mali.
In 2009, the Only The Brave Foundation first partnered with Millennium Promise, which oversees the Millennium Villages Project in partnership with the Earth Institute at Columbia University and UNDP, for the development of an Only The Brave Millennium village – a 20,000 inhabitants village in Mali called Dioro.
