Next Tuesday, March 8 is Mardi Gras. It means Fat Tuesday in French and it's one of the biggest celebrations in New Orleans. French Catholic tradition requires that one party hard before the lenten season of fasting and sacrifice begins on Ash Wednesday.
Since we can’t just hop on a plane and head to New Orleans for the weekend of parades, beads and hurricanes, consider visiting T.G.I. Friday's instead.
T.G.I. Friday's is celebrating Pardi Gras next Tuesday. Sure it’s a weeknight, but gather your girlfriends and order a SoCo Hurricane, a twist on the classic New Orleans cocktail.
The restaurant bar will also offer other Mardi Gras specials in addition to their regular happy hour specials. Their happy hour specials include half-price selected drinks and appetizers.
For Pardi Gras, happy hour begins at 4 p.m. and runs until you’re ready to head home, i.e. closing time.
